During my recent stay at Hotel Sao Jorge Garden, I was blown away by the breathtaking views of Pico Island right from my room's patio. The location was perfect, close to the charming town of Velas. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and the breakfast was excellent. The beautiful pool was a great addition too. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful experience on São Jorge Island.

Evrything works, nice pool

The view, atmosphere of the hotel, and the very nice people. Good location. Courtesy ride from airport to the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the car rental office and within easy walking distance of the harbor and city center. the rooms are spacious and offer great sea views from the balcony. the breakfast buffet is varied and the staff service is friendly and helpful.

The Wi-Fi connection is slow and unreliable.

We very much appreciated being met off the ferry by the hotel mini-bus and taken to the airport afterwards. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a very pleasent experience, we like it a lot, we can recommended it to everyone expecially during the summer.

Only negative point is that they don't have a Hotel kitchen, so they serve no lunches or dinings.

With a stunning view overlooking Pico island, this hotel offers the best scenic backdrop for a relaxing stay. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience for guests. The rooms with a balcony provide an opportunity to appreciate the breathtaking views while enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

All the aspects of this hotel were more than satisfactory.

The location was the main reason for our choice. Free parking too.

The staff at our arrival weren't very pleasing. They didn't had rooms with couple beds. Wi-Fi at the hotel was very expensive, given that we are in the twenty-first century, it should be free!

poor breakfast (in this kind of hotel you cannot offer a breakfast like that with only no fresh product) internet (4€ per hour!!!!)

This hotel is a hidden gem! The rooms are spacious and clean, with a lovely view to Pico Island. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the pier and close to the supermarket. The staff is friendly and the basic amenities are provided. Plus, the breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious, offering a variety of options to start your day.

No improvements needed, everything was great!

I like the location and the view of the ocean.

One thing must be fix to improve the bussiness on that Hotel. The drive that pick us up the aeroport needs to be polite and helpfull. He was extremelly rude.That is first impression. All other stuff was fine.

The hotel is located in a nice place next to the coast.

I did a local call(in the same village), because I thought it would be cheaper than my spanish mobile phone. The call cost me 2 euros for one minute, this abuses shouldnt be let. The rest is ok.

New Year's Eve at this hotel was a great experience. the staff was friendly and accommodating. the breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from, and the shuttle service to the airport was convenient. the view from the hotel was breathtaking - we could see the neighboring island and the vast ocean. the location was perfect as it was close to the supermarket and easy to find.

The WiFi was a bit spotty, but the hotel promised to improve it. the bed was not as comfortable as we had hoped.

Good pool good location

There was a smell of damp in the room when we arrived. Unwilling to allow a room move. Drilling started at 8am in the morning to repair light sensors. No tourist info in the rooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel facilities were impressive, including a beautiful pool area and well-maintained gardens. We were pleasantly surprised by the vast selection of items at breakfast. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location on a gorgeous island was perfect, with easy access to a car rental company and a great restaurant nearby.

There was nothing we didn't like.
